My name is Michelle Gerssen, and I am currently in my third year of International and European law. After doing ballet for about thirteen years, I decided to switch things up and try something new – poledance it was! This was about a year and a half ago, and I have loved it ever since. I like training both strength and flexibility, but my favourite part will always be choreographies.
As this years’ chairwoman, I am responsible for keeping contact with external parties, as well as taking care of the general wellbeing of the association and keeping my fellow board members in line. On top of that, the newsletter you receive every month is written by yours truly!
Don’t hesitate to shoot me a message if you ever have any questions or comments – I am happy to either help or refer you to the correct person.
Hi guys! My name is Laura, and I’m in my fourth year of the Bachelor of International Communication at the Hanze. I’ve been a member of De NoordPole since 2017, but took a one-year break last year to go abroad to South Africa and Iceland. I love pole dancing because it makes me strong and flexible, and I get to surprise myself every time!
As the Secretary, I’ll be in charge of most email contact, grouping, taking a lot of minutes, and all the fun administration that comes with our association. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments!
Hello Everyone! I’m Ines, I’m from Dublin, Ireland and I’m in my second year of studying international business. I’ve been a member of De Noordpole for one year now. I’ve played sports my whole life but I really wanted to try a sport like pole dancing to simultaneously improve my strength and flexibility. Other than pole dancing I go to the gym, I run and I love reading and fashion.
As your treasurer, I will be managing all the financial areas of the association such as collecting your contribution fees, paying the trainers, paying the bills, and ordering merchandise. I’m looking forward to meeting you all!
Internal & External Coordinator
Hi everyone! My name is Ewa and I’m a second year Mathematics student. I began pole dancing in September 2018 and became a member of de NoordPole one year later. I had never been committed to a sport before, but pole dancing captivated me with its unique combination of strength, flexibility and elegance. When I’m not busy studying, fulfilling my board duties or pole dancing, you’ll probably find me doing yoga, hanging out with friends
or reading books.
As the internal/external coordinator, I handle a major part of communication within the association (with trainers, committees etc.), as well as with ACLO, the Sports Center and external parties. If you have a question and don’t know who to ask, there is a fair chance I’m the right person. Either way, I’m always happy to answer your questions and receive
feedback so that we can make De NoordPole its best!
